Very Well Written Katlyn. Reading this article took me down memory lane when I was preparing for CISSP. I still remember the nervousness before the exam and the surreal ecstasy when I saw my result. I also recommend everyone working in cybersecurity at least read through the syllabus of this exam. It is not about passing the exam but the amount of knowledge you gain while studying for it. Being a working software engineer, I learned a lot of concepts that I never thought could be part of cybersecurity. The experience of going through the reading material feels like an adrenaline rush.

I still have to gain one and half years of experience to become a CISSP. Patiently waiting for it while learning new things. Hope everything goes well! 🤞
